Electrical Control Systems

Intermountain Electronics designs, manufactures, and installs a wide variety of electrical control systems to meet the simplest to most complex requirements. Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) can be programmed for elaborate control, metering, and monitoring applications. Motor starters using vacuum contactors, solid-state soft starts, auto-transformers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and more can be custom designed for the most strenuous environments or complex control systems. Typical applications include conveyors, fans, pumps and material handling equipment. These systems frequently communicate with each other for a fully integrated operation. This communication utilizes a number of different mediums including radio, data highway, and fiber optics.
